the big day

where we'll be

We'll be celebrating our entire wedding day at Belle Oaks Barn! Both our ceremony and reception will take place here, so once you arrive, you can settle in and enjoy the day with us. We absolutely fell in love with this venue, and we can't wait to share it with all of you.

Parking will be available on the grass beside the chapel. After entering the venue, stay left at the fork and you'll end up by the chapel.

We recommend arriving between 3:40–3:50 PM to allow time to settle before the ceremony begins.

A quick note: Our ceremony will be unplugged, so we please ask that all phones and cameras remain tucked away until after we say "I do."

what to wear

Cocktail Attire • Garden Party Inspired

Think elegent, polished, romantic, colorful, and comfortable. Cocktail is our dress code, but if you'd like to lean a little more formal, or you've been waiting for an excuse to wear that gorgeous dress sitting in your closet, consider this your sign! We'd much rather everyone feel fabulous than worry about being "too dressed up." Most importantly, come feeling confident, comfortable, and ready to celebrate with us.

for the ladies

Midi or floor-length dresses are encouraged, though dressy jumpsuits are absolutely welcome. Florals, soft colors, and cheerful prints fit the day beautifully.

for the gentlemen

A suit is always a great choice, but dress pants with a button-down and blazer are just as welcome. No need to stress over a tie, wear one if you'd like, but it's completely optional

a couple quick requests

To help create the atmosphere we've been dreaming of, we kindly ask guests to avoid:

  • White, ivory, cream, champagne, or other bridal shades
  • Dresses with predominantly white backgrounds
  • Light blue dresses (reserved for our bridesmaids)
  • Jeans, casual attire, or everyday wear
  • Cowboy hats and western accessories during the ceremony (feel free to break them out for the reception!)

frequently asked questions

when is the deadline for the RSVP's?

September 13th is the final day to RSVP! After that, we'll be submitting our final guest count to our venue and vendors, so unfortunately we won't be able to accept late responses.

If we don't hear from you by September 13, we'll assume you're unable to attend, mark you as "no", and will miss celebrating with you. We won't be sending reminder texts, so please RSVP before the deadline!

when should i arrive?

We recommend arriving between 3:40–3:45 PM so you have plenty to get settled before our 4:00 PM ceremony. Please don't arrive before 3:30 PM, as we'll still be getting everything ready behind the scenes.

If you arrive after the ceremony has started, a coordinator will guide you to the barn so you can quietly watch the ceremony. We'd hope and love for everyone to be present as we say "I do."

can i wear white, beige, or cream?

lol, no.

If you have to explain why it isn't white, beige, or cream...in any lighting or from any distance...it's probably time to pick another outfit.

can i bring a guest?

If you've been given a plus one, it will be noted when you RSVP. If you don't see the option to add a guest, we've reserved a seat just for you. We can't wait to celebrate with you!

are children invited?

We absolutely adore your little ones! However, we've decided to keep our wedding adults only (21+) so everyone can relax and enjoy the evening. We hope you'll take this as the perfect excuse for a date night!

can i take photos?

Absolutely! We'd love to see your favorite moments from the day. During the ceremony, though, we're having an unplugged ceremony and ask everyone to put away their phones so you can be fully present with us.

After that, take all the photos you want! We'd love to see them.

what kind of drinks will be served?

We'll have both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages available throughout the evening, including beer, seltzers, champagne (for a toast, of course!), and water.

what if i have a dietary restriction?

During cocktail hour, we'll have a selection of cheeses, crackers, fresh fruit, and vegetables. Dinner will include smoked brisket, chicken, mashed potatoes, and Caesar salad.

If you have a food allergy or dietary restriction that we should be aware of, please let us know when you RSVP so we can do our best to accommodate you.

are there hotels for us to stay at?

Yes! We have room blocks at 3 different hotels, all within a few minutes of each other, for you to choose to book with.

what's the weather usually like?

North Florida typically has warm afternoons and cooler evenings. We recommend bringing a light jacket or wrap if you tend to get chilly after sunset. Our ceremony will be indoors, while cocktail hour and the reception will take place in the open-air barn.

will i be notified if anything changes?

If there are any important updates regarding our wedding weekend, we'll make every effort to contact guests as soon as possible. We'll also keep our wedding website up to date with the latest information.

If we don't have your direct contact information, please feel free to reach out to either of us or a member of our immediate family with any questions.

how can you help make our day even more special?

Just come ready to celebrate! We've put so much love, time, and thought into creating this day, and we're so excited to finally share it with all of you. If you happen to notice one of the little details we've obsessed over, don't be afraid to tell us, it'll absolutely make our day.

wait, i have more questions!

First...make sure your question hasn't already been answered above :)

If you've made it this far and still have a question, we'd love to help! Feel free to reach out at itsmandmwedding@gmail.com

we can't wait  to see you in October!
