Flying in? We've listed the three airports we recommend below. Gainesville Regional is the closest and most convenient but pricier, while Jacksonville and Orlando typically offer more flight options and less expensive options.
Closest & Most Convenient
The easiest and closest option for guests flying in. Gainesville Regional Airport is approximately 20–25 minutes from our recommended hotels and about 35–40 minutes from the venue. While flights may be slightly more expensive and often include a connection, it's the most convenient choice with minimal travel after landing.
Best Balance of Price & Convenience
Jacksonville International offers a larger selection of airlines and flights, often at lower prices than Gainesville. It's approximately 1 hour 45 minutes from our recommended hotels and is a great option for guests looking to save on airfare while keeping the drive reasonable.
Most Flight Options
As one of Florida's largest airports, Orlando International offers the widest selection of nonstop flights and competitive airfare. It's approximately 2 to 2½ hours from our recommended hotels. This is a great option for guests traveling from farther away or those planning to extend their trip with a Florida vacation.
While staying in Gainesville, we recommend renting a car if you're flying in, as it will provide the easiest way to travel between the airport, your hotel, and our venue. Parking is available for all guests at the venue.
If you prefer not to rent a car, Uber and Lyft are readily available throughout Gainesville, including the airport, hotels, and surrounding shopping areas. Keep in mind that rideshare availability may be more limited later in the evening, so planning your return trip in advance is always a good idea.
Our venue is approximately a 30-minute drive from the recommended hotel area. Since Gainesville's Downtown Festival & Art Show takes place the same weekend, you may experience slightly heavier traffic throughout the city. While our hotels and venue are not located downtown, we recommend allowing a little extra travel time just in case.
To ensure everyone has plenty of time to park, find their seats, and settle in before the ceremony begins, we kindly recommend arriving at the venue between 3:40 PM and 3:45 PM for our 4:00 PM ceremony.
