We’re still busy tucking in the corners and polishing the details, but here is what we know so far! Check back as we get closer to October 24th for more updates on travel, dress code, and the big day.
The ceremony and reception are both located in Brooker, FL at Belle Oaks Barn; the address is 11800 SW 157th Ln, Brooker, FL 32622.
The venue is located approdimately 30 minutes north of Gainesville, FL and we will not be providing transportating to our wedding. We will be having an open bar so please drink and drive responsibly after the wedding reception has concluded (carpooling is a great way to stay safe!).
We're so excited to celebrate this special day surrounded by our closest family and friends. As we're keeping it intimate, only those formally invited on your Save the Date/Wedding Invitation can be accommodated. If you have a plus one, it will be noted on your invitation and when you RSVP.
For our special day, we love your children but we've decided to keep our wedding adults only (21+), so everyone can fully relax and enjoy the evening with us. We hope you'll take this a chance for a special date night!
We are in the process of aquiring room blocks for all who want to stay the night on Friday and/or Saturday night. Please check back at the end of February as we should have blocks then and should be available for you to book.
With that said, if you do not feel like waiting until the end of the month to secure a hotel, feel free to find one on your own. While we will have room blocks in Gainesville, you can always find some hotels in Starke that might be a little closer to the venue.
It is very important to note that while the Gators does not have a football game the weekend of the 24th, there is an annual music festival that will cause the city to be busier than normal, keep that in mind when driving to the venue to not be late!
For those flying into Florida, we have two airports close to us. You can either fly into Jacksonville International Airport, or Gainesville Regional Airport (though since it is a small airport, getting flights might not be as easy as JAX airport and could be more expensive.)
